about

Written some time ago on a wooden floor in an apartment in Berlin and originally recorded with Theresia Klumpp in my wooden bungalow in Kraków last year some time. With the violin parts still in place I re-recorded guitars and vocals.

lyrics

If we think it can be hard to reconcile.
If we think it can be hard to reconcile.

There would be no need for a saviour to put things right
but this is not going to happen and this is what gives us energy in the night and I'd rather this than nothing.

If I was a bird I would fly south to follow the warmth.
I know, I would take risks and you would shoot me down if given the chance.

There would be no need for a saviour to put things right
but this is not going to happen and this is what gives us energy in the night and I'd rather this than nothing.

There would be no need for a stranger to put things right
but this is not going to happen and this is what gives us energy in the night and I'd rather this than nothing.

If we think it can be hard to reconcile.
If we think it can be hard to reconcile.
